CURSILLO
#152
To my dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
De Colores! WOW! Cursillo #152 is approaching rapidly!
I, as have 151 rectors before me, been praying that God
would lead me – lead #152 – in a powerful
way towards whatever He has planned for the weekend. That
we will be empowered by The Holy Spirit, filled with the
wisdom of God, and show the love of Christ to those who
will be in attendance. That the weekend will work to give
honor, glory and praise to The Holy Trinity and to grow
the Kingdom. WOW!
The team for Cursillo #152 is preparing – has been
preparing – to serve on the weekend of June 26 –
29. We feel that we are, and have been, chosen to serve
God by serving others. Surely we were not qualified when
we were chosen to serve on this God-team! It is with willing
hearts and obedient bodies that we feel so blessed to
have been chosen and know that God WILL be served by the
servants on 152 as well as all of you in the Cursillo
community who sacrifice in so many ways to make a Cursillo
weekend happen.
We know that God works good for those who love Him. We
also have the assurance that we are heirs, through hope,
of all He has promised us. “For I know the plans
I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are
plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future
and a hope.” (Jer. 9:11). Hope is my favorite word
and so many times in the Bible we are told of the hope
that belief in God brings. How He can turn mourning into
joy. How everything that God made is good. How He can
use everything for good. God IS good ALL the time and
ALL the time God IS good! WOW!
Thank you ALL for your palanca in all forms, the sacrifices
made for us and for the participants, for the witness
each of you are in the lives you touch daily. I feel sure
the participants will be overwhelmed with the love showered
upon them. Please continue to support each new Cursillista
as they join the Fourth Day Community and encourage them
to join a Reunion Group. Please plan on participating
in the celebration that is the Diocesan Ultreya on July
12th. WOW!
The Lord is my inheritance; therefore I will hope in
Him! (Lam 3:24)
God’s peace and abundant blessings!
